Registration Information

Registering Your Child at Highland Elementary School

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will begin June 15th from 8 am - 12 pm through July 27, 2026.  Office will be closed June 29th - July 3rd in observance of July 4th.

Special affidavit registration will be held June 16th from 10am - 4pm and July 22nd from 10am- 4pm at Madison County Central Office.  

 
 
 
 

 

RETURNING STUDENTS INFORMATION

1. Mortgage document, filed homestead exemption, or property deed. If leasing, original home or apartment lease
2. One (1) current utility bill (electric, water or gas).
  • Bills addressed to a PO Box will not be accepted.
  • Cell phone bills and disconnect notices will not be accepted.
 
 
If you lease an apartment or home:
1. A current, signed lease agreement that
  • Display parent(s) as the leaseholder(s)
  • Display student as an occupant
  • Is valid through August 31, 2026
2.  One current utility bill (electric, water, or gas)
  • Bill must show the street address, and the name on the bill must match the leaseholder's name on lease.
  • Cell phone bill and disconnect notices will not be accepted.
